by sbrothier

The first thing Joy Suliman focuses on in the morning is the Alessi kettle sitting on her stove top. The funky Italian design prepares her for a great day. Just looking at the slick lines and quirky details makes her feel good as she pours water into it for her cup of tea. In gratitude to how this beautiful design makes her feel, the former CAN project manager decided her kettle’s story deserved to be told.

Chrome OS – Comment ça marche en vrai ?

by srcmax (via)

* Ne sait pas imprimer pour le moment

* Sait lire la musique et les films

* Sait accèder à des supports de stockage externes comme les clés USB

* Se synchronise en live avec le « Cloud » (avec internet quoi…)

* Boote en 3 secondes

* Ne saura pas tout faire (édition de vidéos, jeux puissants…etc)

* Vous permettra de ne plus jamais perdre vos données

by srcmax

Today we'd like to share with the web community information about SPDY, pronounced "SPeeDY", an early-stage research project that is part of our effort to make the web faster. SPDY is at its core an application-layer protocol for transporting content over the web. It is designed specifically for minimizing latency through features such as multiplexed streams, request prioritization and HTTP header compression.

Google Open Source Blog: Hey! Ho! Let's Go!

by srcmax

Here at Google, we believe programming should be fast, productive, and most importantly, fun. That's why we're excited to open source an experimental new language called Go. Go combines the development speed of working in a dynamic language like Python with the performance and safety of a compiled language like C or C++.
